A lot of people tell me I'm crazy because I truly enjoy photographing babies.  This is baby Taylor, take a look at these images and I think you'll understand why I do enjoy photographing babies!

Attending Kenneth Linge's Photographing People Seminar

On March 6, 2010 I attended Kenneth Linge's Photographing People part 1 seminar.  I can easily say it was one of the most exciting and informative photography related days of my life.


Mr. Linge is an award winning international photographer, with a huge list of credentials, that practices his philosophy of "No Secrets."  He teaches with a passion and without reserve.


Topics discussed ranged from methods of compostion, types of light, color composition, and correct use of focal lengths just to name a few.


Different methods of lighting the model were taught during different times of the day.  Harsh middle of the day sunlight was used as a tool, not to be feared.  Evening sky was used with the correct Kelvin color temperature to create a beautiful contrast between sky and model.


I had more than a few "light bulb" moments during the day.  Including why I seem to favor one of my reflectors over the others.


If you have the desire and opportunity to attend I highly recommend it.
